President of UIHJ Marc Schmitz to visit Uzbekistan

Dilyor Khakimov, Ambassador of Uzbekistan to the Benelux countries, met with the President of the International Union of Judicial Officers (UIHJ) Marc Schmitz in St. Vith, a municipality located in the Belgian province of Liège.

According to the press service of the Foreign Ministry, the current state of cooperation between the Compulsory Enforcement Bureau under the Prosecutor General’s Office of Uzbekistan and the UIHJ was discussed at the meeting.

Marc Schmitz praised the participation of Uzbekistan in the activities of the UIHJ Council and expressed interest in holding joint events in the form of workshops, trainings, roundtable discussions and forums with partners from Uzbekistan.

Following the talks, the President of UIHJ expressed readiness to attend Tashkent Law Spring International Forum to be held on April 23-25, in Tashkent.
