Assessing the level of entrepreneurship development to start from spring of 2020

A government decree “On measures to introduce a system for assessing the level of entrepreneurship development in the regions of the republic” has been adopted, the Justice Ministry press service reports.

In accordance with the document, from March 1, 2020, a system for assessing the level of entrepreneurship development in the regions of the republic will be introduced. 

Until March 1, 2020, the automated online information system BUSINESS INDICATOR will be launched to calculate and evaluate entrepreneurship development indicators.

To develop this system and provide it with technical services, an agreement will be concluded on an exceptional basis by selecting the best offers without bidding (qualifying tenders). 

The assessment will be carried out based on the results of the half year and year. On this basis, a rating of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the regions and city of Tashkent, as well as districts will be given. At the same time, it is planned to financially encourage the managerial staff of organizations, local executive authorities of regional bodies with high ratings.

The assessment will be carried out by the Ministry of Economy and Industry and the Ministry of Justice.
