Tragic road accident occurs in Karakalpakstan killing four 

On February 12, at around 11:30, a resident of the Beruniy district A. B. drove his Matiz car on the A-380 “Guzor-Bukhara-Nukus-Beynau” highway ignoring the established speed limits. Consequently, he lost the control of the car and jumped on the opposite lane.

According to the press service of the Traffic Department under the Interior Ministry, the driver of Matiz collided with a MAN truck, which was being operated by Sh. T., a resident of the Gujduvan district of Bukhara region.

As a result, the driver of Matiz A. B., the passengers of the car S. M., M. K. and T. R. died on the spot.

The driver of MAN truck Sh. T. and other passengers of Matiz D. K. and S. S. were taken to the hospital with bodily injuries.
