Fraudulent activities of the INTERNATIONAL JOB ORGANIZATION private employment agency has been revealed.
Surkhandarya Regional Department of the Prosecutor General’s Office conducted a pre-investigation inspection.
Reportedly, the head of the INTERNATIONAL JOB ORGANIZATION private employment agency Sh. A. and others earned the trust of many people in 2019. They promised citizens (61 people) help in finding a job in Denmark and Switzerland, and received 45 million soums from each of the applicant. In total, the fraudsters were able to raise 2.6 billion soums and misappropriated all the funds on their personal needs.
In addition, members of the organization promised another 4 citizens that they would be employed in the Republic of Korea, they fraudulently acquired $16,500 and 125 million soums from them in July 2019, and misappropriated the funds.
On the above fact, a criminal case has been initiated against the head of the INTERNATIONAL JOB ORGANIZATION private employment agency Sh. A. and others under Part 4, Article 168 of the Criminal Code. Currently, investigative activities are underway.
