The Embassy of Uzbekistan has posted on its website an appeal to compatriots in Tokyo. The content of the message has also been distributed with the assistance of the Uzbek Youth Association in Japan and the Uzbekistan-Nagoya Friendship Association.
“We are worried about the fact that the number of infected people with coronavirus in Japan is growing. The Japanese government is taking concrete measures to combat this disease. We hope that soon the number of patients will be reduced, and the risk of further spread will also be eliminated,” the statement says.
In this context, the government of Uzbekistan is also taking a number of measures to protect the health of its citizens and prevent the entry of coronavirus into the country.
“We hope that these measures will ensure the security of our country, the health and well-being of our people. We ask you and your family to understand and support the above-mentioned initiatives,” the embassy noted.
