Russia organizes evacuation of its citizens from Uzbekistan due to spread of coronavirus
The Russian Federation organizes charter flights to evacuate its citizens from Uzbekistan due to the spread of coronavirus.
“Currently, Russia plans to organize special flights for the evacuation of its citizens from Uzbekistan. For this, the embassy will create the list of Russian citizens wishing to leave the republic,” the diplomatic mission of the Russian Federation in Tashkent announced.
They note that everyone who wants to leave the country should fill out a questionnaire on the e-mail of the embassy and send it to the consular department.
It should be reminded that on March 15, specialists from the Institute of Virology of Uzbekistan identified coronavirus in a woman who arrived from France. On the same day, the government of Uzbekistan decided to quarantine all kindergartens and educational institutions, cancel celebration events, and temporarily stop transport links with other countries.
