The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Russia urges citizens to remain calm and provides recommendations on the ways to prevent the virus infection.

On March 16, in connection with the announcement of quarantine in Uzbekistan, it was stated that all types of flights from foreign countries will be suspended. At the same time, the entry of compatriots, who want to return to Uzbekistan, is not restricted. This has prompted Uzbek citizens in Russia and other countries around the world to raise a number of questions. In this regard, the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Russia addressed to compatriots living in this country, gave its recommendations and provided information on where to address.

Due to the rapid spread of a new type of coronavirus COVID-19, the World Health Organization has announced that the infection has reached the pandemic level. According to the Federal Service for Consumer Protection and Human Wellbeing (Rospotrebnadzor), several cases of coronavirus infection in the Russian Federation have been recorded.

As of March 16, 2020, there were no patients, who got infected with the new virus, among citizens of Uzbekistan in Russia.
