Police detain persons suspected of arson of Mercedes-Benz and BMW X5
Law enforcement officials detained two men suspected of intentionally setting foreign-made cars on fire in Tashkent.

It should be recalled that on March 8, at about 05:30, in the Mirabad district, on the Shakhrisabz Street, the fact of intentional arson of cars (Mercedes-Benz GLS300 and BMW X5) belonging to a 36-year-old woman was recorded. The amount of material damage was tentatively estimated at $225,000.
As the DIA press service reported, the suspects in the arson of two vehicles were identified and arrested in the course of the measures taken.
They turned out to be a 30-year-old native of Samarkand region and a 26-year-old native of Tashkent region.
A criminal case has been instituted under Article 173 of the Criminal Code (deliberate destruction of property causing major damage).
