State Statistics Committee: Uzbekistan has increased car production in January-February 2020
In January-February 2020, 49,014 cars were produced, which is more by 26% than the same period last year.
According to the State Statistics Committee, during the first two months of 2019, 38,642 cars were produced – this is less by 10,000 units than the production volume of the winter of 2020.
It is noted that in January-February 2020, the following cars were manufactured:
Nexia T-250 – 13,570 units;
Cobalt – 11,379 units;
Lacetti-Gentra – 9,442 units;
Damas – 8,485 units;
Spark – 5,323 units;
Labo – 815 units.
It is noteworthy that the production of trucks decreased: in 2019 – 782 units, in 2020 – 636 units.
Automotive engine production increased: in 2019, 32,600 engines were produced, and in 2020 – 42,100 engines.
Tractor production in January-February 2020 amounted to 143 units (in 2019 – 67 units).
