Ramadan to begin on April 24
Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree “On the worthy celebration of the holy month of Ramadan”.
The document notes the special role and importance of this month, which is considered a symbol of kindness, generosity and charity in the spiritual life of our country, further strengthening the good-nature, mutual compassion and social cohesion, respect and reverence for the noble qualities, religious and spiritual values which are inherent to our people.
It is stated that Uzbekistan welcomes the holy month of Ramadan on April 24.
“All necessary conditions will be organized for conducting the month of Ramadan at home, with the family, in strict compliance with the quarantine rules,” the report said.
It was previously reported that the organizational activities for the Hajj-2020 season have been suspended until the epidemiological situation stabilizes.
