Uzbekistan to mark Ramadan Eid on March 20
Ramadan Eid in Uzbekistan will be observed on March 20, which falls on a Friday, according to information released by the Ministry of Justice regarding upcoming public holidays and days off.
An official presidential decree confirming the holiday schedule is expected to be announced in the coming days.
Employees working a five-day workweek will have four consecutive days off:
- March 20 – Ramadan Eid
- March 21 – Navruz
- March 22 – Sunday
- March 23 – additional day off (rescheduled)
For those working a six-day workweek, the days off will be March 20, 21, and 22. March 23, which falls on a Monday, will remain a working day for this group.
The extended holiday period combines Ramadan Eid and Navruz celebrations, providing a longer break for most employees across the country.
