Uzbekistan increased car production in Jan-April
In January-April 2020, 96,727 cars were produced in Uzbekistan, which is 17,113 more compared to the same period last year, follows from the report of the State Statistics Committee.
Compared to the same period of 2019, the production of passenger cars increased by 1.2 times, automobile engines – also by 1.2 times.
In January-April, 25,081 Nexia cars were produced (growth rate compared to the same period in 2019 was 113.8%), Cobalt – 23,694 (139.6%), Gentra – 17,907 (140.7%), Damas – 17,561 (123.6%), Spark – 10,365 (158.1%) and Labo – 2,119 (79.5%).
During the reporting period, 424 bused were produced (production decline by 28.5% compared to the corresponding period of 2019). The largest production volume in 2020 was recorded in March, amounting to 176 units.
In January-April, 1,237 trucks were manufactured in the republic (by the corresponding period of 2019, the volume of production decreased by 28.5%).
