11-year-old boy killed in road accident in Surkhandarya

A fatal accident occurred in the Buston mahalla of the Shurchi district, Surkhandarya region, on May 23.

According to the press service of the Main Directorate of Road Safety, on the afternoon of May 23, a Nexia-3 driver, moving at high speed, hit an 11-year-old boy crossing the road in the wrong place. The boy died at the scene of the accident from the injuries sustained.

Shurchi district police department is investigating the incident.
