Prime Ministers of CIS member states to discuss joint measures against COVID-19
The Council of Heads of Governments of CIS member states will meet through videoconferencing on May 29, the MFA press service reports.
The meeting will be chaired by the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdullah Aripov, and will also be attended by the Prime Ministers of Azerbaijan - Ali Asadov, Belarus - Sergey Rumas, Kazakhstan - Askar Mamin, Moldova - Ion Kik, Russia - Mikhail Mishustin, Tajikistan - Kokhir Rasulzoda, vice Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Mher Grigoryan, Deputy Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Erkin Asrandiev, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and Chairman of the Executive Committee, CIS Executive Secretary Sergey Lebedev.
The agenda of the meeting includes 15 issues of cooperation between the CIS member states in various fields.
“During the negotiations, the participants will exchange views on current areas of cooperation in the economic, transport-logistics, energy, cultural-humanitarian and other fields, as well as discuss joint efforts against the spread of the coronavirus infection,” the MFA press service said.
