Fire breaks out at a gas station in Karakalpakstan
No reports of civilian casualties received.
A fire broke out at a gas station in Beruniy district, Republic of Karakalpakstan. This was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Measures.
On June 2, at about 11:37 a.m., a fire broke out at a universal (propane-methane-diesel) gas station of Ikrom Aziz LLC, located on Beruniy Street of the Beruniy district, Republic of Karakalpakstan.
According to preliminary data, two 25-ton tanks and two ZIL-130 trucks were burned in the fire. In addition, next to these tanks there were 3 empty 10-ton tanks and 2 30-50-ton tanks.
Six firefighters and rescue teams of the Emergency Department of the Republic of Karakalpakstan arrived at the scene.
The cause of the fire is said to be non-compliance with fire safety rules when refueling.
There were no reports of civilian casualties.
