STC expects increase of tax collection by 20 trillion soums through automation
The Cabinet of Ministers has approved a strategy for the development of information technologies and communications of the State Tax Committee, the STC press office reported.
The strategy includes the modernization of the data center and telecommunication applications, the acquisition of servers and software, the transfer of the information system complex to a single platform, the improvement of the quality of e-services, the operational processing of big data. As a result, the committee is expected to receive additional revenue of up to 20 trillion soums.
It is noted that the automation of business processes in tax administration will reduce the overall time spent on business processes by 20-30%.
Through the creation of the “Case Management”, “Case Assessment System” structures provided for in the strategy, the tax system will be improved by carrying out the tax audit in an automatic form, monitoring, real-time use of data and analysis.
The modernization of the data center will result in a 10-fold increase in the speed of data processing and analysis and a 100% increase in the level of confidentiality of the database information.
“The transfer of tax administration information systems to a single platform will optimize data entry, collection and analysis, facilitate the process of reporting by taxpayers 5-7 times, and will also reduce the human factor by 60%,” the STC said.
