Uzbekistan imported specifically designed foreign-made vehicles for over $755 million in Jan-May 2020

$755.4 million was spent on vehicles specifically designed for certain industries, and $411.4 – on car parts.

The State Statistics Committee provided information on cars and auto spare parts imported to Uzbekistan in January-May.

It was noted that $755.4 million was spent on vehicles specifically designed for certain types of industries. $411.4 was paid for automobile spare parts.

Cars, mainly passenger cars (excluding vehicles designed to carry 10 or more people), were imported for $205.9 million. $578.8 million was spent on non-industrial vehicles and their spare parts.

Electrical communication, recording and broadcasting devices cost $253.3 million. Electrical cars, apparatus, instruments and their spare parts cost $249.5 million.
