Truck collided with Lacetti in Samarkand, two people killed 

On July 9, the driver of a DAF truck travelling on the Bukhara-Tashkent road lost control of the vehicle and collided with a Lacetti car on the oncoming lane, the Investigation Department reports.

As a result of the collision, the driver of Lacetti and his 24-year-old passenger died of injuries sustained.

The Investigation Department under the Samarkand regional DIA instituted criminal proceedings under Article 266 of the Criminal Code. 

The preliminary investigation is ongoing.
