Mahalla officials in Shakhrikhan misappropriated 82 million soums allocated to low-income families
The press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office informed Kun.uz about the crimes detected in recent days by the Department for Combating Economic Crimes.

Reportedly, 82.2 million soums of budget funds were looted as a result of unjustified payment of financial assistance to 51 people not registered as low-income families by officials of the “Yakka tut” mahalla in the Shahrihan district, Andijan region.
Criminal proceedings have been instituted against mahalla officials under Part 2 of Article 167 (paragraphs a, v, g) and Part 1 of Article 209 of the Criminal Code. An investigation is underway.
