Uzbekistan imported specifically designed foreign-made vehicles for $916 million in January-June 2020

$916 million was spent on vehicles specifically designed for certain industries, and $467.6 – on car parts.

The State Statistics Committee provided information on cars and auto spare parts imported to Uzbekistan in January-June.

It was noted that $916 million was spent on vehicles specifically designed for certain types of industries. $467.6 was paid for automobile spare parts.

Vehicles, mainly passenger cars (excluding ones designed to carry 10 or more people), were imported for $239.1 million. $759.8 million was spent on non-industrial automobiles and their spare parts.

Electronic communication, recording and broadcasting devices cost $282.2 million, while electric cars, apparatus, instruments and their spare parts cost $310.9 million.
