Uzbekistan to develop a methodology for calculating the rating of corruption for state bodies and enterprises
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev instructed to develop a methodology for calculating the rating of corruption and shadow economy for state bodies, enterprises and regions.
On July 27, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting to discuss ongoing activities to reduce the shadow economy.
At the meeting, it was instructed to develop a methodology for calculating the rating of corruption and shadow economy for state bodies, enterprises and regions. “Starting 2021, the results of this rating will be announced with an assessment of personal responsibility of all managers,” the presidential press service said.
In order to ensure transparency in these areas, strengthen public control and competition, the Ministry of Finance was instructed to launch an information portal for public procurement. Each project will undergo anti-corruption expertise. The task has been set to apply this procedure from 2021 to all projects implemented using centralized funds.
The head of state gave instructions on the development of roadmaps to combat corruption in the context of sectors and directions, to prevent corruption in the field of public procurement and investment projects.
