Admission exams to higher education institutions to begin on September 2
Admission exams to higher education institutions will begin on September 2 and will last for 2 weeks. This was announced by Deputy Director of the State Testing Center (STC) Sardor Rajabov, Kun.uz correspondent reports.
According to Barno Rajabov, head of the department at the State Testing Center, in August, work will be carried out to equip the areas where tests will be conducted with tables, chairs, billboards and video surveillance.
Exams will be held in open stadiums, 2 shifts per day. According to the Minister of Physical Culture and Sports Dilmurod Nabiyev, 155 stadiums in the country were studied and about 40 of them were chosen for conducting exams.
Depending on the weather conditions, the exams will be held at a convenient time of the day, and applicants will be provided with umbrellas if necessary.
It should be recalled that President Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting on August 6 on the organization of admission exams to higher education institutions for the 2020/2021 academic year. During the meeting, responsible executives were instructed to organize tests in stadiums in Tashkent, Nukus and regional centers, taking into account the fact that indoor buildings do not meet epidemiological requirements.
