Specialists from Germany arrived in Uzbekistan to help fight COVID-19
A group of 10 medical specialists from Germany arrived in Uzbekistan on Friday to assist doctors in the fight against the spread of coronavirus, the press service of the Health Ministry said.
The delegation of 10 doctors included leading experts from the Robert Koch Institute, highly qualified doctors from the university hospitals of Frankfurt am Main and Düsseldorf, as well as representatives of the European Regional Office of the World Health Organization.
During their stay, German specialists, together with responsible employees of the Anti-Coronavirus Staff, will analyze the current epidemiological situation and present their recommendations.
They will also get acquainted with the activities of medical institutions, medical centers and laboratories in the regions of the republic, provide practical assistance and share their experience with their Uzbek colleagues in the field of diagnostics, control over the spread of the disease and treatment of coronavirus patients.
