Farkhod Umarov will temporarily serve as khokim of the Bukhara region. The President has already signed the relevant decree, the press service of the regional administration reports.
Prior to his current appointment, Umarov has been working as deputy khokim of the region.
Earlier it was reported that former khokim of the region Karim Kamalov died from coronavirus on August 22.
