Uzbekistan to gradually restore international flights
The Special Republican Commission has approved the temporary instruction for the organization of regular international flights during the coronavirus pandemic.
According to Deputy Prime Minister Aziz Abdukhakimov, the relevant officials have been instructed to take measures to gradually restore all types of international flights (as well as rail and road communications) and approving them with foreign countries.
This instruction came into force on September 1, 2020, and now the commission will suspend the issuance of permits to tour operators and airlines to organize charter flights; at the same time, issued permits will be valid until October 1, 2020.
Also, the vehicles registered in neighboring countries and temporarily imported into Uzbekistan may be exported from the territory of the country, and in order to create additional convenience, the deadline for the return of vehicles by foreign countries was extended until November 1, 2020.
In addition, the Special Republican Commission recommended celebrating the 29th anniversary of the independence of Uzbekistan complying with the sanitary rules and requirements.
