Mirziyoyev signs a decree on termination of JSC Uzbekoziqovqatholding
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has signed a decree on measures to accelerate the development of the food industry in the republic and provide the population with high-quality food products.
According to the document, the holding company Uzbekoziqovqatholding is being terminated. A special commission has been formed for this purpose.
In the structure of the Agriculture Ministry’s central office, on the basis of the Department for Processing Agricultural Products and Development of Infrastructure, the Main Department for the Development of the Food Industry has been established.
JSC Uzbekoziqovqatholding was created on the basis of the Association of Food Industry Enterprises of Uzbekistan in 2016. The plans to terminate the holding became known in 2018.
