Coronavirus cases surpass 47 thousand in Uzbekistan

“As of 10:00 a.m., September 13, the number of coronavirus infection cases stands at 47,042 (+192),” the statement reads.

It is noted that 96 new cases were detected in the city of Tashkent, 51 – in Samarkand, 17 – in Andijan, 9 – in Namangan, 8 – in Karakalpakstan, 8 – in the Tashkent region, 3 – in Kashkadarya.

So far, 43,511 people (93%) have recovered from the disease, 388 died. Currently, the number of active cases of infection is 3,143.
