Chief imam-khatib of Tashkent region Khayrulloh Turmatov died
Chief Imam of the Tashkent region Khayrulloh Turmatov has died, the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan reported.
For information, Khayrulloh Turmatov studied at the Tashkent Islamic Institute named after Imam Bukhari. He worked as imam-khatib of mosques “Chetsuv”, “Karabag”, “Zangiota” in the Tashkent region and chief imam-khatib of Angren. Lately, he was serving as chief imam-khatib of the Tashkent region.
