Rostov announces the transfer of Eldor Shomurodov to Genoa
Forward of FC Rostov Eldor Shomurodov will continue his career in Genoa, the official website of the Russian club informs. The parties reached an agreement on the transfer of the 25-year-old player, though the terms are not disclosed.
“I’m very grateful to the club management and the coaching staff. These people believed in me and their support has been vital. Now it is time to move on, but that does not mean I will forget the club. I will always remain a fan of Rostov,” Shomurodov commented on the transfer.
On Friday, the forward will undergo a medical check in Italy, after which he will sign a 4-year contract with the Genoese club, Sport-Express informs.
In total, Genoa pays 9 million euros for the transfer of Shomurodov, including bonuses. Also, Rostov will receive 15% from the player’s subsequent transfer.
