Eldor Shomurodov moves to another Italian FC
Shomurodov, who could not be included in the main team of Roma, was loaned to Spezia for half a season. He will also play under number 14 in his new club.
Italian FC Spezia officially announced the transfer of Uzbek striker Eldor Shomurodov from Roma and officially registered him in the Serie A.
According to local sources, Spezia rented the player for €1.5 million without the right to buy at the end of the season.
The player from Uzbekistan will also play under the number 14 in his new club.
For information, Spezia is in the 17th place in the Serie A with 18 points and is one of the teams that have scored the fewest goals in the league. Shomurodov did not score a goal in 6 games for the Romans this season.
Earlier, José Mourinho did not rule out that Shomurodov could return to the Rome club at the end of the season.
At the same time, Spezia is in 17th place in the Italian championship. The next match of the team will be played on Sunday, February 5, against the leader of the tournament, Napoli.
