Uzbekistan Airways imposes restrictions on hand baggage
Now one can take only a purse, a briefcase, a laptop and a bag of baby supplies with them to the cabin.
According to the press service of JSC Uzbekistan Airways, restrictions on carrying hand baggage have been introduced in order to maintain social distance and avoid unnecessary contact between passengers and crew.
“Now, the only things you can take to the cabin is a purse, a briefcase, a laptop and a bag of baby supplies that you might need during the flight. The rest of the items must be handed over during check-in,” the company says.
The press office also reported that the unused weight of hand baggage is added to the permissible weight of baggage.
“This means, if the fixed weight of hand baggage is 8 kg and you take in the cabin only 2 kg, the remaining 6 will be added to the allowed weight of luggage,” the JSC added.
