Turakurgan TPP cuts power supply for several days
The Turakurgan thermal power plant (TPP) in the Namangan region is preparing for the autumn-winter season, the press service of the Energy Ministry informed.
“In order to be fully operational for the autumn-winter period, the combined cycle gas turbines of the Turakurgan TPP will be temporarily shut down from October 9 to 11, 2020,” the report says.
This may lead to short-term power outages during peak times.
Upon completion of the work, the power supply will resume in the same mode.
