“This joint statement demonstrates that in these difficult times the Central Asian region is holding together and supporting constitutional approaches based on the rule of law to address domestic problems. This is an important sign of solidarity and support for solving such complex issues on the basis of the Constitution and the rule of law,” Dunyo IA quoted him as saying.
According to the diplomat, the adoption of the joint statement is a sign that the region “forms its positive identity on the basis of common values”. “Behind this initiative, we see the leadership and active interaction of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev with his neighbors, which is highly appreciated by the EU,” Burian underlined.
