Ambassador Anvar Abdukhalimov presents his credentials to Sultan of Oman

The newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan Anvar Abdukhalimov presented his credentials to the Sultan of Oman Haitham bin Tariq Al Said at Al Barakah Palace, the MFA said.

During the conversation following the official welcoming ceremony, Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said conveyed his sincere greetings and good wishes to the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The Sultan of Oman expressed his satisfaction with the level of development of bilateral relations, one of the bright symbols of which was the new building in Tashkent of the library of the Institute of Oriental Studies named after Abu Raikhan al-Beruni. He remembered with great warmth his visit to Uzbekistan to participate in the opening ceremony of the library.

The head of Oman stressed his interest in stepping up cooperation and creating appropriate mechanisms for organizing visits at various levels.
