Sanitary and Epidemiological official caught on bribe in Bukhara
The head of the Office of Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance in Bukhara was detained when taking a bribe.
According to the press service of the Regional Internal Affairs Department, the man was arrested on November 7 by law enforcement officers at about 09:20 in his office when taking $400 and 500 thousand soums in bribe.
“The head of the sanitary-epidemiological surveillance department demanded $400 and 500 thousand soums from the head of the “Jamila Jahoni Lazzat Omad” enterprise, threatening to issue a fine,” the official report says.
The police filed a criminal charge against the official under the article on bribery.
