Shavkat Mirziyoyev to take part in SCO Summit
President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will take part in a video conference session of the SCO Council of Heads of State on November 10.
The agenda of the meeting, which will be chaired by Russia, includes issues of further strengthening multifaceted cooperation within the SCO in the context of growing new global threats and challenges.
The heads of delegations of member and observer states will discuss the prospects for the development of multilateral relations in priority areas, as well as exchange views on topical issues of international and regional significance.
UN Secretary General António Guterres is also expected to send a video address to the summit participants.
The meeting is expected to adopt the Moscow Declaration and a package of documents aimed at expanding mutually beneficial cooperation within the SCO, including in the field of security, economy, digital technologies, rural development, effective fight against epidemics and other areas.
