Commercial banks start selling US dollar for 10,450 soums
On Tuesday, November 24, commercial banks have considerably increased the exchange rate of the dollar.
Most of the banks are purchasing the US currency for 10,400 soums and selling it for 10,450 soums. Last week, for example, the rates were 10,360 and 10,430 soums, respectively.
To remind, the Central Bank of Uzbekistan updated foreign exchange rates on November 23. According to it, the US dollar increased in price by 24 soums, reaching the mark of 10,414 soums and showing an upward trend for the fourth week in a row.
Euro, in the meantime, appreciated by 50 soums, amounting to 12,344 soums.
