The Cabinet of Ministers has adopted a resolution on measures to further develop information systems and geographic information technologies in the construction industry.
Earlier, in accordance with a relevant presidential decree, the Ministry of Construction launched the national information system “Transparent Construction” as an experiment in the Tashkent region. Also, the geographical information system (geoportal) “State Urban Cadastre of Uzbekistan” was launched in a test mode. This allows the public to submit urban planning documents and information online.
According to the document, the followings have been approved:
- Regulations on the national information system “Transparent Construction”;
- Regulations on the geographical information system “The state town-planning cadastre of Uzbekistan”;
- An action plan for further development of “Transparent Construction” and “State Urban Cadastre of Uzbekistan” and its integration into the E-government system.
The Ministry of Construction together with the Agency for Public Services was instructed to register the procedures for the provision of services in the construction sector and submit a draft law by January 1, 2021, which provides for optimizing the required information and reducing the time of public services.
The document came into force on 20.11.2020.
