Uzbekistan, Tatarstan eye to strengthen trade-economic ties
On December 2, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to the Russian Federation Botirjon Asadov met with the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.
According to the Tatarstan President’s press service, the parties discussed the issues of strengthening bilateral cooperation, consolidating trade-economic ties and increasing the volume and range of mutual supplies of goods and services. Interaction in the field of education, culture and tourism were also considered during the talks.


Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan – Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov, Chairman of the State Committee for Tourism of the Republic Sergey Ivanov and other officials also attended the meeting.
