Uzbekistan Railways reports loss of 352 billion soums

Uzbekistan Railways reported a loss of 352 billion soums, Spot writes with reference to the company’s annual report on the Single portal of corporate information. The 2020 year is listed in the report, but most likely it is 2019.
The company’s net revenue amounted to 8.1 trillion soums, gross profit – 2.8 trillion, profit from base activities – 2.1 trillion. Expenses on financial activities amounted to 2.9 trillion soums, losses from foreign exchange rate differences – 2.6 trillion soums.
Back in May, it became known that domestic transport companies suffered a loss of 340 billion soums due to quarantine restrictions. And this figure will increase further until the epidemiological situation stabilizes.
