Uzbekistan’s Ambassador hands over credentials to President of Ukraine
The newly appointed Ambassador of Uzbekistan Alisher Kurmanov presented his credentials to President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky at the Mariyinsky Palace, the Dunyo IA reported.
Taking into account the epidemiological situation, the ceremony was limited to the presentation of credentials and the subsequent general speech of the President of Ukraine, in which it was noted that Uzbekistan is an important partner of Ukraine in Central Asia.
Zelensky noted that the parties are striving to build up bilateral trade and economic relations and increase trade turnover to $1 billion.
