Kamilov, Lavrov discuss course of preparations for President Mirziyoyev’s visit to Russia
On December 21, within the framework of his working visit to Russia, Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov held negotiations with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov.
The parties exchanged views on topical issues of foreign policy interaction, key topics of the international and regional agendas.
“The course of preparations for the state visit of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the Russian Federation was considered during the talks. In this context, the ministers approved the list of interstate, intergovernmental and interdepartmental documents planned for signing,” the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
The sides reaffirmed their commitment to continue close cooperation between the foreign affairs departments, including mutual support in the fight against the spread of the coronavirus infection.
