FM Abdulaziz Kamilov receives Russian Ambassador Vladimir Tyurdenev
On December 31, Foreign Affairs Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation Vladimir Tyurdenev.
According to the press service of the Foreign Ministry, during the conversation, the current state of bilateral relations and prospects for further development of cooperation in a number of areas were discussed.
The parties also considered the schedule of upcoming meetings at various levels.
It should be recalled that on December 30, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev had a telephone conversation with the President of Russia Vladimir Putin.
Mirziyoyev and Putin confirmed their determination to continue joint efforts to strengthen Uzbek-Russian relations of friendship, strategic partnership and alliance.
Earlier it was also reported that Vladimir Putin awarded Ambassador Tyurdenev with the Order of Honor.
