Currency exchange: US dollar shows a downward trend for first time in weeks

The Central Bank of Uzbekistan has established new exchange rates of foreign currencies against the soum, which comes into force from January 5 this year.
According to the Central Bank, starting from tomorrow, the exchange rate of the US dollar drops by 27.48 soums, amounting to 10,449.44 soums.
The Euro, in the meantime, falls by 24.13 soums, being valued at 12,761.90 soums.
The Russian ruble also shows a slight decrease – by 0.82 soums. 1 ruble becomes equal to 140.45 soums.
It should be noted that the Central Bank does not take any obligation to purchase or sell foreign currencies at the rates set.
