Universities to resume traditional form of education starting January 11
Higher education institutions in Uzbekistan will return to the traditional form of education from January 11. This was announced at the AIMC briefing by the press secretary of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education Farkhod Babashev.
“All universities have developed a schedule for resuming the educational process in the traditional form. In accordance with the document, students will return to universities from January 11. Some sick students or students in need of social protection may continue their studies online. In this case, universities study the conditions of students,” Kun.uz correspondent quoted the ministerial spokesman as saying.
At the event, it was noted that higher education institutions can now independently determine whether to conduct classes 5 or 6 times a week depending on their curriculum.
“The daily workload of students should not exceed the set norms,” Babashev added.
