Saida Mirziyoyeva, Kelley Currie discuss strengthening the rights of women, creating broader opportunities for them

Saida Mirziyoyeva has held talks with Kelley Currie, Ambassador-at-Large for Global Women’s Issues.

“As a deputy chairperson of the Mass Media Foundation Board of Trustees and the Gender Equality Commission member, I consider it important to draw public attention to the equality issues and create all the conditions for women’s self-fulfillment and full disclosure of their potential,” Mirziyoyeva writes in Twitter.

According to her, the parties discussed at the meeting a wide range of issues related to strengthening the rights and opportunities of women in Uzbekistan and the Central Asian region, as well as projects that can be implemented jointly in this area.
