Ilhomjon Nematov leaves for Moscow to start work as Deputy Chairman of the CIS Executive Committee
Former Deputy Foreign Minister Ilhomjon Nematov has left for Moscow to embark on his duties as Deputy Chairman of the CIS Executive Committee.
“On January 14, 2021, Ilhomjon Nematov has left Tashkent for Moscow,” the press service of the Foreign Ministry said.
Earlier in December, it was reported that the former Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister of Uzbekistan Ilhomjon Nematov would take up his duties as Deputy Chairman of the CIS Executive Committee starting January 2021.
For information, Ilhomjon Nematov has been working in the system of Foreign Ministry since 1992. Over the years, he headed the embassies of Uzbekistan in India, Russia, the United States, was ambassador-at-large of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Deputy, First Deputy Minister.
