Ministry of Health publishes statistics on coronavirus cases

According to the latest information of the Ministry of Health, 44 people tested positive for a coronavirus on January 31.

The total number of reported cases reached 78,755.

Yesterday, January 31, 21 people contracted the virus in Tashkent, 1 – in Andijan, 2 – in Jizzakh, 1 – in Navoi, 3 – in Namangan, 1 – in Syrdarya, 4 – in Khorezm and 11 – in the Tashkent region.

According to the ministry, 30 people recovered from the disease on January 31, bringing the total number of recovered to 77,221 (98 percent).

To remind, recently Uzbekistan registered the first case of the British strain of COVID-19.
