The El-Yurt Umidi Foundation to increase number of grants for students to study abroad
The number of people sent abroad for master's and Ph.D. degrees through the El-Yurt Umidi Foundation will increase fivefold.
Starting this year, in accordance with the State Program for 2021:
• The Foundation will introduce grants for bachelor’s students willing to study abroad. In the current year, 100 undergraduate students are expected to be sent abroad at the expense of the Fund.
• Instructions will be developed to improve the quality of teaching physics and foreign languages.
In addition, from July 1, 2021, midwives will be allowed to practice nursing independently.
By the end of 2021, 900 double orphans aging out of the foster care system will be provided with housing.
In 2021, 22 kindergarten buildings, 31 new schools, 16 HEI buildings, 24 healthcare facilities and 23 sports facilities will be built.
A Children’s Support Fund will be established with a 100 billion soums-fund allocated from the state budget.
