Shavkat Mirziyoyev: We are discussing with Kyrgyzstan the issues of Sokh and other border checkpoints
At the extraordinary session of the Namangan regional council of people’s deputies, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev spoke about the border checkpoint with Kyrgyzstan, located in the village of Gova, Chust district.

“We are holding negotiations with the Kyrgyz side regarding not only to this post, but also on the Sokh issue. I personally communicate with the neighboring, fraternal Kyrgyz people and their leadership. Yesterday, Mr. Tashiyev (the head of the Kyrgyz State National Security Committee Kamchibek Tashiyev) expressed his views on border issues.
Our relationship is drastically different than it was five years ago. We are working hard on these issues,” Shavkat Mirziyoyev said.
